Reuben Bird-Tulloch

Reuben Bird-Tulloch began playing rugby at the age of five with Blackheath Rugby Club, where he stayed through to U15 level. Alongside his club rugby, Reuben progressed through the Kent and Saracens pathways, representing England at U16, U17 and U18 level and captaining both the U16 and U17 sides.

After attending Harrow School, where he captained the 1st XV, Reuben joined the Saracens Senior Academy. He enjoyed early success with the club, helping Saracens win the Premiership 7s in 2018 and Premiership Shield in 2019. He then joined Northampton Saints, making his Premiership debut in August 2020.

In 2021, Reuben made the move to Ealing Trailfinders, beginning a hugely successful chapter of his career. He has since been part of three Championship-winning sides, lifting the title in 2022, 2024 and 2025, as well as winning two Championship Cups in 2022 and 2023. He was also part of the Trailfinders side that completed an unbeaten Championship regular season in 2025/26.

Reuben’s individual achievements have been equally impressive. He was named Ealing Trailfinders Coaches’ Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season in 2024, while earning selection in the Championship Team of the Season three times in 2023, 2024 and 2025. He has also been named in The Rugby Paper’s Dream Team twice.

With his rugby journey taking him from grassroots rugby in South London through England age-grade and Premiership rugby to becoming an established figure at Ealing, Reuben has developed into one of the Trailfinders’ most experienced and decorated players.

Away from rugby, Reuben enjoys travelling, discovering good food and listening to music. He’s also a keen follower of history, football and the NFL, giving him plenty to keep up with when he’s away from the pitch.
