David Douglas Bridge
David Douglas Bridge began his rugby journey at Bromsgrove RFC, playing from U9 through to U18, while attending Old Swinford Hospital School. During his school years, David helped his side to National Bowl success in 2017 before taking the next step in his development at Loughborough University, where he played BSR rugby from 2019 to 2022.
His performances at Loughborough earned him an opportunity with Leicester Tigers, where he featured in the Premiership Cup in 2022. That same year, David represented England Students against France, helping England to victory before making the move to Ealing Trailfinders.
Since joining Ealing in 2022, David has been part of two back-to-back Championship-winning sides and reached 50 appearances for the club during the 2025/26 season. His performances were recognised at the end of the campaign when he was named Coaches’ Player of the Year.
Away from rugby, David enjoys golf, gaming and spending time outdoors. He also has a creative and entrepreneurial side, with an interest in designing and developing apps.
