Rory Scannell progressed through the Irish schools and age-grade pathway, representing Ireland at both Schools and U20 level before joining Munster Rugby in 2012.
Rory went on to spend an impressive 13 years with Munster, making 200 appearances for the province between 2012 and 2025. During that time, he became a hugely experienced figure within the squad and was part of the Munster side that lifted the URC title in 2023.
His performances at provincial level also earned him international recognition, with Rory making his Ireland debut in 2017 and going on to win three caps for his country.
After more than a decade at Munster, Rory made the move to Ealing Trailfinders, bringing extensive Irish and European rugby experience to the squad as he begins the next chapter of his career in West London.
Away from rugby, Rory is a keen golfer and enjoys getting out on the course whenever he gets the chance.
