Michael Stronge

Michael Stronge began his rugby journey with Ballymena RFC before attending Ballymena Academy, where he continued to develop from 2010 to 2017. His performances earned him a place in the Ulster Academy, where he spent three years, while also representing Irish 7s during the 2017/18 season.

Michael continued to play for Ballymena RFC alongside his academy career before making the move to England and joining Nottingham Rugby in 2021. During his three seasons with the club, he reached an impressive 50 appearances, establishing himself as an experienced figure in the Championship.

In 2024, Michael joined Ealing Trailfinders and was part of the side that lifted the league title, adding another major achievement to his career.

Now in West London, Michael brings experience from both Irish and English rugby, as well as a wealth of Championship experience.

Away from rugby, Michael enjoys golf, good coffee and, naturally, good food – three of his favourite ways to spend time away from the pitch.
