Michael Dykes
Michael Dykes began his rugby journey with Bracknell RFC, where he played from U5 through to U12 level, before moving to Maidenhead RFC for the next stage of his development.
At 16, Michael joined the London Irish St Paul’s AASE programme, helping the side become champions in his final year. His performances also earned him selection for England U18s, where he represented his country on a tour of South Africa, playing against France, Argentina and South Africa.
Michael progressed through the London Irish senior academy and into the first team, gaining valuable experience in professional rugby before moving to Gloucester, where he continued his senior career.
He has now joined Ealing Trailfinders, adding experience from three professional environments and continuing a journey that began in grassroots rugby in Berkshire.
Away from rugby, Michael is a keen Call of Duty player, making sure he gets plenty of time on the controller when he’s away from the pitch.
