Matt Cornish

Matt Cornish began playing rugby at the age of four with Effingham & Leatherhead before moving to Cobham at U13 level. At 18, he joined Ealing Trailfinders, beginning a long association with the club that has continued throughout his career.

Matt spent three and a half years with Ealing including a season on loan to London Irish Wild Geese, where he helped the side win National League 3. He also earned selection for England Counties, touring Canada as part of the representative side.

After his initial spell with Ealing, Matt spent three years with London Irish before returning to the Trailfinders, where he has spent the last three seasons. His career has now come full circle, with Matt once again representing the club where his professional journey began.

Away from rugby, Matt is a keen golfer and enjoys getting out on the course whenever he gets the opportunity.
