Louis Finch only began playing rugby seven years ago, starting his journey with French club CAP in Périgueux. He spent five years with the club and enjoyed early success, becoming French U21 champions during his fourth season.
Louis then moved to Mont-de-Marsan, joining Stade Montois for two seasons. It was there that he took the next step in his career, making his first professional appearance in France’s PRO D2 in October 2025.
During his time at Stade Montois, Louis also had the opportunity to represent the French Navy on several occasions. Playing for the Navy is a career highlight for Louis, alongside making his professional debut in PRO D2.
Now at Ealing Trailfinders, Louis brings a unique rugby journey and experience of French professional and representative rugby to West London.
Away from rugby, Louis enjoys surfing and snowboarding, making the most of any opportunity to get outdoors and onto either a wave or a mountain.
