Kyle Hatherell
Kyle Hatherell began his rugby journey at Ligbron High School in South Africa before joining the Sharks Academy in Durban. He made three appearances in the U21 Currie Cup before continuing his development with local club Varsity College.
Kyle then made the move to the UK, spending a season with Marr in Troon, Scotland, before joining Jersey Reds for three years. His performances in Jersey earned him a move to Worcester Warriors, where he made his Premiership debut and spent two seasons competing at the highest level of English rugby.
In 2022, Kyle headed to France for an eight-month spell with La Rochelle. It proved to be a memorable chapter in his career, as he helped the club win the Champions Cup and reach the Top 14 Final.
Kyle returned to England with Leicester Tigers, spending two seasons with the club before joining Ealing Trailfinders for the 2025/26 season. He now brings extensive experience from South African, English and French rugby to the Trailfinders.
Away from rugby, Kyle is a big coffee enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his dog whenever he gets the chance to switch off from rugby.
