Freddie Stevenson

Freddie Stevenson began playing rugby at the age of six with his local club, Bude RFC, before stepping away from the sport at U15 level to focus on cricket. Cricket became Freddie’s main sport through his teenage years, but at 18 he returned to rugby, working his way through Bude’s senior sides and earning a place in the first team in 2022.

That same year, Freddie headed to university and joined the University of Liverpool first team. One of the highlights of his first season came when he represented Cornwall’s senior side, adding another chapter to his rugby journey.

Freddie made his Championship debut with Caldy the following season before enjoying a breakthrough 2024/25 campaign, featuring in 21 Championship matches and five Premiership Cup fixtures. He also picked up his first Man of the Match award against Doncaster in the Premiership Cup.

The following season, Freddie played 27 games for Plymouth Albion while also training with Exeter Chiefs, gaining further experience in the professional game before making the move to Ealing Trailfinders this season.

Away from rugby, Freddie enjoys getting outdoors, particularly going on walks and hikes. Having spent much of his younger years playing cricket, he also keeps a close eye on a wide range of other sports.
