Lineup: Leicester Tigers vs Trailfinders Women

Head Coach Barney Maddison has named his Trailfinders Women side to face Leicester Tigers at Mattioli Woods Welford Road. 

Maddison has made ten changes to his squad this weekend to face Leicester Tigers.

Red Rose Abi Burton skippers the squad to face the East Midlands outfit in Round Twelve. Alongside her in the back row is Emma Taylor and Sally Williams. Williams starts for the first time this season after returning from an ACL injury.

A changed front row sees Alivia Leatherman starting at loosehead, Cassandra Tuffnail at tighthead, with Niamh Swailes at hooker.

Emma Wassell makes her first appearance in the starting XV after making her Club debut off the bench last weekend. She joins Shy Pinnock in the engine room.

Isla Norman-Bell retains her place at scrum-half. Ella Amory joins her in the halfbacks at fly-half.

Lining up in the centres are Jess Cooksey and Emma Uren.

Grace White returns to the right wing with Rosie Inman on the left. Niamh Gallagher starts at fullback to complete the back three.

Maddison names a 5-3 split on the bench with the inclusions of Trailfinders Academy products Hayley Jones and Annabel Meta.

The players will be wearing yellow ribbons in their hair this weekend to honour the passing of Ellie Boatman’s mother Rhona.

Ealing Trailfinders travel to Hartpury in Round Seventeen of the Champ in a bid to break the Champ Rugby record for the most consecutive wins in the league. 

Ben Ward has named seven changes in his match day squad to face Hartpury at the 4ED Stadium.

Scott Buckley is named as captain in the Club’s bid to make history this weekend. Alongside him in the front row is Kyle Whyte at loosehead and George Davis at tighthead.

The engine room remains unchanged after Trailfinders’ win over Coventry last weekend. David Bridge and Sean Lonsdale both start in the locks.

Kyle Hatherall and Jordy Reid return to the back row. The flankers join Will Montgomery who retains his place at number eight after a physical performance last weekend against Coventry.

Dan Jones returns as the starting fly-half after a clinical second-half performance after coming off the bench last weekend. Michael Stronge joins him in the half-backs at scrum-half.

Head Coach Barney Maddison has named his Trailfinders Women side for the Valentine’s Day fixture against Sale Sharks.

Maddison has made five changes to his squad this weekend to face the Sharks.

Rachel Malcom is named as co-captain and starts at openside flanker in the Round Eleven fixture. Kate Zackary has been named as the other co-captain though she starts on the bench this weekend.

Maddison names a changed front row. Alivia Leatherman remains at loosehead but Cassandra Tuffnail joins her at tighthead with Cris Blanco at hooker.

In the engine room, Shy Pinnock links up with Maia Roos.

Alana Borland moves into the back row to join the skipper Malcolm. Grace Moore starts at number eight.

GB7s star Isla Norman-Bell comes in at scrum-half to join Canadian international Claire Gallagher in the halfbacks.

The back three boasts three GB7s stars: Emma Uren at outside centre, Celia Quansah on the left wing, and Vicky Laflin on the right wing.

Conor Oliver captains the side once more after the 65-7 win over Richmond last weekend. Also in the back row is Josh Taylor at blindside flanker and Will Montgomery at eight.

Team News: Trailfinders Women lineup for the trip to Bristol Bears

Head Coach Barney Maddison has named his Trailfinders Women side for the trip to Bristol Bears.

Trailfinders Women will take on Bristol Bears at Shaftesbury Park on Saturday 7th February (12:00pm KO) in round Ten of The PWR.

It’s an unchanged front three from last Friday’s narrow loss at home to Harlequins, with Alivia Leatherman and Maya Montiel either side of Black Fern Georgia Ponsonby. The engine room remains all-Kiwi, with Maia Roos partnering Alana Borland once again. Bright spark Haidee Head starts at Open-side Flanker, she’s joined by Scotland’s Rachel Malcolm at six with USA’s Kate Zackary skippering the side from Number Eight.

Brooke Bradley and Claire Gallagher return as the half-back pairing who will be looking to inject some pace and dynamism in to the game. It’s an unchanged Centre partnership as Wales’ Carys Cox returns at inside centre with speedster Emma Uren just outside her at 13.

Vicky Lafflin and Grace White will once again be providing electric pace out wide on the wings. They’ll be joined in the back-field by Niamh Gallagher who comes in at fullback for the travelling side.

Maddison opts for a 5-3 split amongst the replacements, with plenty of pace and firepower at his disposal.
