His performances earned him international recognition with Ireland, representing the country at U18, U19 and U20 level. Hayden then moved into senior rugby with Ulster, spending two seasons with the province before returning to England to join Harlequins in 2021.
Alongside his 15s career, Hayden also made the transition into international Sevens, representing England Sevens during the 2021/22 season. One of the highlights of this period was representing England at the Commonwealth Games, adding a unique multi-format international experience to his career.
Hayden spent five seasons with Harlequins from 2021 to 2026 and now brings his experience across English and Irish rugby, international age-grade rugby and Sevens to Ealing Trailfinders.
Away from rugby, Hayden enjoys reading, playing chess and exploring his interest in history.
