Emeka Atuanya
Emeka Atuanya started playing rugby at U7 level and continued throughout his school years, eventually helping Northampton School for Boys reach the NatWest Cup semi-final in Year 12. His performances earned him a professional contract with Northampton Saints, where he spent five seasons developing and competing at the highest level of English rugby.
During his time with Saints, Emeka gained valuable experience through loan spells with a number of clubs, including Loughborough Students and Old Albanians in National 2, Leicester Lions in National 1, and Championship sides Bedford Blues and Chinnor. These experiences gave him the opportunity to play different styles of rugby and develop his game across a range of levels.
Emeka was also part of the Northampton Saints squads that won the Premiership in both 2024 and 2026.
Away from rugby, Emeka has a passion for gaming and anything mechanical. He enjoys working on cars and getting under the bonnet, giving him a very different kind of problem-solving challenge away from the rugby pitch.
