Welcome Victoria Laflin!
Trailfinders are thrilled to announce the signing of Victoria Laflin!
The winger signs from Worcester Warriors and brings a wealth of try-scoring ability to TFSC, displayed by her hat-trick against Sale Sharks in the Warriors’ recent 49-14 victory over the Manchester club.
The 24-year-old spent six seasons at Worcester before her move to Trailfinders, and completed a master’s degree at the University of Worcester in Counselling Psychology.
Laflin also represented England at U20 level alongside fellow Trailfinders Abby Dow, Cara Brincat, Ellie Green and Jessica Cooksey.
Upon signing for Trailfinders, Laflin said: “I am really grateful for the opportunity to play at Trailfinders. Giselle has been really supportive and understanding through this whole process, and the girls have all been so welcoming.
“Worcester will always have a place in my heart but I’m very excited to see how I can grow and develop at Trailfinders!”
Director of Rugby, Giselle Mather, said: “We are delighted to sign Vicky Laflin. She is a beautifully balanced and elusive runner with ball in hand and has a genuine eye for the try line.
“Her physical presence on the field gives her an excellent offload game too making her a very dynamic threat to opposition defences! We can’t wait to see Vicky work her magic for Trailfinders!”
