Trailfinders Women Contract Re-Signings 24/25
Trailfinders Women are delighted to announce that ten players have signed contract extensions with the club before the 2024/25 season.
The following players will be back for another exciting season of Allianz Cup and PWR action: Ella Amory, Cristina Blanco, Ellie Boatman, Fiona Cooper, Kira Leat, Ellie Lennon, Sara Seye, Emma Uren, Charlie Willett, Kate Zackary.
Spanish international hooker Cristina Blanco had a sensational first season for Trailfinders Women, leading from the front and commanding the lineout, and as a result, was awarded Players’ Player of the Season.
Another person to pick up an end-of-season award was Italian international prop Sara Seye, who was voted Coaches Player of the Season after a brilliant campaign in and around the pack.
England U-20s prop Kira Leat had a great season, making several impactful appearances off the bench to reinforce the pack and starting in the Allianz Cup.
GB7s pair Ellie Boatman and Emma Uren, who captains the Olympic team, have committed their future to Trailfinders, offering some serious pace to the backline.
Second-rower Charlie Willett made several impactful contributions to the team’s efforts this year, especially in the Allianz Cup.
Strength in depth continues through back rower Fiona Cooper, who adds significant talent to the squad.
At the back of the pack, USA Captain Kate Zackary was a team leader on and off the pitch throughout the season, and her experience and skill will undoubtedly be relied upon many times again in the next campaign.
Belgium 7s international scrum-half Ella Amory had a brilliant season as both a starter and an impactful substitute off the bench when the game required an injection of pace.
Last but not least, centre Ellie Lennon will be back with the club for the 2024/25 campaign. Her ability from the boot proved handy in multiple appearances for Trailfinders in the Allianz Cup.

It will make for a very exciting season, in what is a big year for the Women’s game, culminating with the World Cup.
