TEAM NEWS: TRAILFINDERS VS SARACENS
Head Coach Barney Maddison has named his side to take on Saracens at StoneX Stadium in The JAECOO PWR Next Gen Cup Final.
Annabel Meta moves into the Front-row, as she joins fellow Red Rose Hayley Jones who gets the nod at Hooker. Tanya Kalounivale features at Tighthead Prop to complete the Front-row of the scrum.
Teya Ashworth will look to continue her fine form in the Cup, as she starts again in the Second-row. She’ll be partnered by Brunelian Jas Adonri, who will don the number Five jersey.
Jade Betsen will add her usual dynamism to proceedings, as she starts at Blindside flanker. It’s a slightly new look to the rest of the Back-row, as Niamh Swailes moves to Openside, where she’ll Captain the side from. Cassandra Tuffnail will look to steer the scrum from Number eight, as she starts at the base of the scrum, rather than in her usual position in the Front-row.
Brooke Bradley and Claire Gallagher will be looking to impart some of their usual quick thinking and slick handling skills to the game, as they start at Nine and Ten respectively.
The midfield is comprised of Charlotte Brookes at Inside centre and Jess Cooksey at Outside centre.
The back three is unchanged from last weekend’s fixture, as Grace White and Ruby Tui feature on either Wing, with Rosie Inman completing the starting lineup at Fullback.
Maddison will have some dynamic options to bring on to impact the game, such as Evie Collingbourne and Flo Long who feature amongst the replacements.
The game kicks off at 6pm on Saturday the 7th November and will be live streamed on The PWR YouTube channel.
