Team News: Ampthill vs Ealing Trailfinders

Ealing Trailfinders have named their side to face Ampthill at the StoneX as one of three matches in the Saturday triple header.

Ben Ward has named his Ealing Trailfinders side ahead of Round Seven in Elior Champ Rugby.

Set to make his Club debut, Max Nagy will start at fullback for the men in green and white this weekend after rehabbing from shoulder surgery at the start of the season.

After making his 50th cap last weekend, Mike Willemse retains his place as skipper. Alongside him in the front row is Kyle Whyte and George Davis.

Bobby De Wee is joined by Emeka Atuanya in the engine room.

Fyn Brown starts at blindside flanker with Conor Oliver on the openside. Kyle Hatherell is named as eightman.

A changed half-back pairing sees Michael Stronge start at scrum-half with Louie Johnson at fly-half.

Rory Scannell starts at inside centre with Reuben Bird-Tulloch on his outside.

Last week’s player of the match Deago Bailey starts on the right wing. Hayden Hyde starts on the left with Max Nagy completing the back three.

Ben Ward has named a 5-3 split on the bench. Scott Buckley is named as replacement hooker with Mikey Summerfield and Kabous Bezuidenhout as the impact players for the front row. Freddie Stevenson and Jordy Reid return to the matchday 23. Craig Hampson, Dan Jones, and Fionn Gibbons are named as the replacement backs.

Kick-off is at 12pm on Saturday 7 November at the StoneX.
