Meg Jones has established herself as one of the leading centres in English women’s rugby, combining an extensive international career with experience across several of the country’s leading clubs.

She made her England debut against New Zealand in 2015 and has since represented England at multiple Women’s Rugby World Cups. She also has extensive Sevens experience, including a bronze medal with England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, as well as representing Great Britain at the Olympic Games and European Games.

Meg was a key member of England’s 2025 Rugby World Cup-winning squad, starting all six matches and scoring three tries. Her performances earned her a place in the Team of the Tournament and a nomination for World Rugby Women’s Player of the Year.

Following spells with Bristol Bears, Wasps and Leicester Tigers, Meg joined Trailfinders Women ahead of the 2025/26 season. She was appointed England captain for the 2026 Women’s Six Nations and led the Red Roses to a Grand Slam.

Meg has now become one of the central figures in Trailfinders’ rise to the top of the women’s game, captaining England while helping Trailfinders reach their first PWR final in 2026.
