Helen Nelson

Helen Nelson began her rugby journey through the age-grade pathway before stepping away from the game and later rediscovering it at university. Her return to rugby proved a successful one, earning her a place in the Scotland setup in 2016.

Helen has represented Scotland in both 7s and 15s rugby, gaining valuable international experience across both formats of the game and establishing herself as an experienced figure within Scottish rugby.

Now continuing her career with Trailfinders, Helen brings a wealth of international experience and a unique perspective from playing both codes of the game.

Away from rugby, Helen is happiest outdoors. She enjoys hill walking, cycling and exploring the great outdoors, although a good coffee is always welcome after a day outside.
