Claire Gallagher

Claire Gallagher began her rugby journey in Canada, developing through club rugby before continuing her career with the University of Ottawa. Her performances at university level earned her selection for Canada U23s and opened the door to the senior international pathway.

Claire went on to establish herself within the Canada senior squad, earning around 23 international caps and gaining valuable experience on the international stage.

Her career then took her across the Atlantic to England, where she joined Leicester Tigers and continued her development in the Premiership.

Having experienced rugby across Canada and England, as well as representing her country at both U23 and senior level, Claire brings a wealth of international experience to Trailfinders Women.

Away from rugby, Claire is a big fan of sport in general and enjoys following all sports. She also loves travelling, reading and exploring her creative side through art.
