Annabel Meta has progressed rapidly through the English women’s rugby pathway, developing through Wimbledon RFC and the Trailfinders Academy before making her Premiership debut with Trailfinders Women.
Annabel represented England U18s in the Six Nations before progressing to England U20s. She has continued to develop within the England pathway and was selected for the England U21 squad, earning five caps at that level.
Her performances at Trailfinders have also brought senior international recognition. Annabel was selected for the Red Roses’ 2026 Six Nations squad, becoming one of seven uncapped players included following England’s 2025 Rugby World Cup triumph.
Still at the beginning of her senior career, Annabel has already established herself as one of the exciting young forwards within the Trailfinders programme, combining her development through the academy with experience at Premiership and international pathway level.
