Men’s departing players confirmed
Ealing Trailfinders can today announce a full list of players who will depart the club following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.
It has already been confirmed that Lefty Zigiriadis and Josh Taylor will join Northampton Saints, Tobi Wilson will join Bristol Bears, and Geordie Gwynn will join Edinburgh.
In addition, George Worboys, Sam Edwards, Richie Simpson, James Kenny Jordan Holgate, Danny Cutmore, and Rob Farrar will also depart at the end of June.
Director of Rugby, Ben Ward, said:
“While attention remains firmly on the task at hand and finishing a remarkable season strongly in the playoffs, we also wanted to take the opportunity to thank our departing players for their contributions to the club, both on and off the pitch.
“We’re very proud of our players who are taking the next step and have earned opportunities in the PREM and URC. In particular, Josh, Lefty and Geordie who have progressed through our Trailfinders Academy pathway and programme with Brunel.
“There should also be a special mention for Rob Farrar. He leaves having made a huge impact on the club. A winner of both Coaches’ and Players’ Player of the Year in both 22-23 and 24-25 seasons is testament to his efforts and the regard in which he is held here because of them, and I wish him all the very best in what comes next.
“Across recent seasons, this group of players have played an important role in unprecedented success – a significant period for our Club. I personally thank each of them, and they leave with the gratitude and respect of everyone connected with the Club.”
Everyone across Ealing Trailfinders wishes each of our departing players the best in their next chapters.
