both sides exchanged blows early on with possession changing hands frequently. Neither side were able to stamp their authority on proceedings.
After Ten minutes, Caldy broke the deadlock through their number 11 Will Robinson. The following Conversion was missed.
Trailfinders won a scrum penalty with fifteen minutes played and kicked to the corner. Caldy remained resolute in defence however, winning a penalty five metres out from their own line.
Ealing kept making great stride into the Caldy 22, onlt to be repelled by penalties that went the way of the home side on more than one occasion.
The away side finally broke the barricade just before the interval with Jordy Reid powering over the line on 40 minutes. Rory Scannell added the conversion. Ealing took a slender two point lead into half-time.

Ealing flew out of the blocks at the start of the Second-Half, scoring through David Douglas Bridge two minutes after the break. Rory Scannell expertly converted.
Ten minutes later, it was more of the same for the travelling side. This time it was Michael Dykes getting in on the Action, breaking the line and handing off his defender before dotting down. Scannell again stepped up and nailed the extras.
Two minuted after, Caldy struck back through Ollie Hearn following a driving maul. Wilkinson converted to bring the score to 12-21.
With four minutes left to play, Caldy were in again as Matt Gallagher added to the home side’s points tally. Wilkinson added the extras to narrow the scoreline to 19-21.
Despite some late yellow cards, Trailfinders were able to hold out for a hard-fought win on the road, marking their 21st straight win this season which equals the current record held by Newcastle Falcons.
