80min – And that’s the game! A tough contest but what a win!

78min – Jersey with a penalty on halfway and they’ll go to the corner.

75min – The visitors win a penalty at the scrum but Bennet can’t convert, so we’ll have a 22 drop out.

71min – A breath taking passage of play with both sides fighting for every inch, eventually sees us pop up with a penalty at the breakdown.

64min – Under huge pressure, we come up with a big turnover as the maul goes to ground and the ball is unplayable, our scrum.

63min – Jersey win the penalty at the scrum and will have a line out 5m out.

57min – BIG defensive play! Jersey win a penalty and go to the corner, after winning the line out we drive them back 5m, and then drive the man into touch.

53min – Tempers just starting to boil over here, with Jersey getting the penalty and then seeing it reversed for backchat/ goading (we’re not too sure from all the way up here!)

49min – TRY EALING – With a scrum 5m out we don’t get the dominance we’d have liked but we spin the ball to Paddy and somehow he powers over despite having three men all clinging off him.

46min – A little bit of kick tennis sees Hampo put in a good touch finder. Jersey take the line out but overthrow and we’ll go on the attack again.

44min – TRY EALING – The line out works well and with 13 men, we muscle over from the rolling maul and retake the lead!

43min – We win another penalty and we’ll set up the maul.

42min – Jersey steal but kick it straight out and we’ll have the line out.

40min – We win an early penalty and will have the line out inside their 22

KICK OFF – And we’re back, big second half needed boys!

HALF-TIME – And that’s the break

34min – Our maul makes good ground, but as we peel off we’re penalised for our latchers going off feet.

33min – Jersey are penalised in the air at the line out and we’ll go to the corner.

31min – PENALTY JERSEY – We look like we’ve won the penalty but we’re penalised for not rolling away and Bennet makes no mistake.

29min – A superb maul defence sees us push Jersey backwards 5m, before the use it. Lukey then manages to rip the ball and we clear.

27min – A penalty to Jersey inside our half sees them go to the corner.

23min – A kick out on the full from Jersey sees us go all the way back for a line out, just outside their 22.

18min – SO CLOSE – A beautiful free flowing move from Rayn, Carlo and Hampo almost sees us go under the sticks. We’re tapped tackled 5m from the line and with no support players left, Jersey turn us over.

15min – PENALTY EALING – Another good passage sees us win the penalty for a high tackle and Craig ties us up!

13min – A lot of kick tennis happening here, but finally it’s ended by a great touch finder from Craig!

9min – TRY JERSEY – The visitors score straight back after turning over following a kick chase

7min – TRY EALING – They illegally pull down the maul and the ref is straight under the posts as Bennett is sin binned!

6min – A really nice response from us, good carries from Jonah and Carlo see us make good in roads, before we win the penalty and go to the corner!

3min – PENALTY JERSEY – It’s been all Jersey since the kick off and we’ve managed to stop them well, until we give away the penalty and Bennett makes no mistake from straight in front of the posts
