Emma Taylor Joins Trailfinders!
Trailfinders Women are thrilled to announce the signing of Canadian International Emma Taylor from Saracens ahead of the 24/25 season.
Taylor made her Canada debut in 2017 against the black ferns and went on to represent her nation at the 2021 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
Taylor has impressed with her ability at the set-piece and around the park during her time at Saracens, and will be looking to add stability to the tight five in West London.
Signing for Trailfinders, Taylor said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to make the move to Trailfinders for this upcoming season! I honestly think the squads potential is through the roof and being part of a team like that is incredibly exciting.
“I think we will be aiming to hit a new stride this season and aim for a top 4 finish; if I can play even a small role in making that happen, I’ll be immensely proud! I can’t wait to get started with this group and show the league what this team is capable of!”
Director of Women’s Rugby Giselle Mather said: “We are thrilled to welcome Emma to Trailfinders Women. She is a powerful athlete bringing physicality in both attack and defence and is a genuine presence at set piece. Her international experience will also bring tremendous value to our group and we look forward to welcoming her very soon!”
