EALING TRAILFINDERS SIGN JAMES HUMPHREYS

Ealing Trailfinders are delighted to announce the signing of fly-half James Humphreys. 

Humphreys joins Trailfinders for the 2026/27 season from United Rugby Championship team Ulster.

The fly-half is a talented goal-kicker and reader of the game, hailing from a family with strong rugby pedigree.

On signing for the Club, Humphreys said: 

‘I’m delighted to be joining Ealing Trailfinders for the next few seasons. It’s a very exciting opportunity to join such a successful club and I’m really looking forward to experiencing life in the Champ and bringing my best to the group.’

Ben Ward, Director of Rugby added: 

‘James has a very good kicking and passing game. He’s a player that will compete with the likes of Dan Jones for the ten shirt at the Club and having that internal competition will only strengthen the group.

‘His knowledge and understanding of the game is very good and that’s something that caught our attention. James has shown himself to be a good operator in terms of his game management.

‘We’re excited to have James in the Ealing Trailfinders environment and giving him as many opportunities as possible.’
