As April saw the final sprint in the league, with four tough fixtures against Bedford Blues, Caldy, Jersey Reds and Doncaster Knights, it’s now time to vote for your Ealing Trailfinders Player of the Month.

Second-row Andrew Davidson has been voted the Ealing Trailfinders Player of the Month for March.

The hard-working lock hit the ground running after joining the club in February, appearing on the bench against Nottingham after his first week at the club, before then claiming a starting spot against Hartpury a week later.

From then on, Andrew has been in the starting team ever since, playing a huge impact in all four of our fixtures in March.

He crossed early against Richmond in our 0-50 victory at the RAG, and then was instrumental in the success of our line-out and rolling maul in our victories against London Scottish, Nottingham and Cornish Pirates.

The 26-year-old was also recognised by the Championship Clubs Podcast, as he was named in the Team of the Week after his performance in tough conditions as we travelled up to Nottingham.

March was the first time he had been nominated for a Player of the Month award and he has won it on the first occasion.

Winger James Cordy-Redden has been voted the Ealing Trailfinders Player of the Month for February.

The hard-working winger has delivered another outstanding month for Ealing Trailfinders, featuring in all three of our Championship Cup fixtures against Jersey Reds, Nottingham and Hartpury.

The 29-year-old has been in superb form, putting in hard hitting tackles, strong running lines and being a real force in the air under the high ball.

February was the first time he had been nominated for a Player of the Month award and he has won it on the first occasion.

Flanker Rob Farrar has been voted the Ealing Trailfinders Player of the Month for January.

The hard-working blindside has delivered another outstanding month for Ealing Trailfinders, featuring in all four fixtures against Caldy, Ampthill, Hartpury and Coventry. 

The 22-year-old has continued his superb start to life as a Trailfinder, having consistently set the tone in defence, putting in big tackles and being a force to be reckoned with at the breakdown.

He was particularly impactful in the away game at Hartpury, making 20 tackles, hitting 20 rucks, making two turnovers and having 100% carry dominance.

This January was the first time Rob had been nominated for a Player of the Month award and he has won it on the first occasion.

Powerful flanker Carlo Tizzano has been voted the Ealing Trailfinders Player of the Month for December.

The Australian enforcer delivered another outstanding month for Ealing Trailfinders, featuring in all three fixtures against Jersey Reds, Bedford Blues and Cornish Pirates.

The 22-year-old maintained his excellent try scoring form, scoring two tries against Bedford and crossing in the crucial moments in the 12-25 win over Pirates. His three tries in December catapulted Carlo to the top of the Championship’s try-scoring list with 11 tries so far this season.

This is the second time Carlo has been voted Player of the Month having won the award back in September.
