We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Tickets for Good, promoting inclusive access to unmatched live action right here in West London.

Our partnership with Tickets for Good will provide NHS workers, third-sector employees, teachers, volunteers and individuals impacted by the cost-of-living crisis with the opportunity to attend the spectacle of elite rugby.

Through a limited number of donated and discounted tickets, the Club will open the doors to each of our Premiership Women’s Rugby and RFU Championship games in the 2025-26 season, providing opportunities for individuals and families who may have previously missed out on the excitement of live sport.

Ben Ward, Managing Director of Ealing Trailfinders said:

“It’s a privilege that we’re able to work with Tickets for Good and make it clear that this sport is for everyone. It’s so important that we recognise those within our community that routinely go above and beyond for others, and equally that we create opportunities for those people and families that usually think they have to miss out. There should be no barriers to enjoying this game.”

In addition to next season’s fixtures, our final two home games of the 2024-25 RFU Championship – this weekend’s tie against Chinnor, and our fixture against Coventry which could well include a trophy winning celebration on 24th May – will also be available via Tickets for Good. Ward added:

“We’ve had a fantastic campaign so far, and it feels only right that we give people the opportunity to come along before the summer and get a taste for what to expect next season.”

Bethany Rutt, Head of Business Operations at Tickets for Good said:

“We are so proud to be partnering with Ealing Trailfinders to make live rugby more accessible for people who truly deserve it. This partnership will make sure that NHS workers, charity staff, teachers and families who have been feeling the pressure get the chance to experience the excitement of the game. It is brilliant to be working with a club that shares that belief.”

The Club announces, with sadness, the death of Bill Taylor on Wednesday 2nd April 2025.

Bill was, without doubt, one of the greatest servants of the Club in the past half century who as Colts Manager for many years built teams which not only won matches, but produced the fine players who took Ealing RFC into the National Leagues as a Club to be reckoned with.

Bill’s funeral will be held at Breakspear Crematorium, Ruislip, HA4 7SJ on Wednesday 16th April 2025 at 2.15 pm where all are welcome. The wake will follow at Tir Chonaill Gaels, Berkeley Avenue, Greenford, UB6 0NZ, the Club’s former clubhouse, and in order to make the arrangements his daughter Jean would like to hear from anyone who would wish to attend.

Jean’s contact details are: 07742 668476 and taylorjean1258@gmail.com

We are excited to confirm that Rori Wood has signed an extension with the club ahead of the new season.

The 25-year-old Canadian international, who earned her first senior cap for Canada against Ireland in October 2024, has quickly established herself as a dynamic presence in the tight-five since joining midway through last season.

Wood made an immediate impact upon arrival, scoring three tries in as many games. Her standout performance came in January, where she crossed the line twice in a thrilling match against eventual champions Gloucester-Hartpury Women, showcasing her ability in both the scrum and open play.

A native of British Columbia, Wood brings a strong physical presence and technical expertise to the forward pack, adding a valuable dimension to the team’s play.

Speaking on her extension, Wood said:

“I’m very excited to have re-signed with Trailfinders. I’ve felt at home here from the start – the environment, the team of coaches, and everyone around the club have been brilliant. I love being a part of it, and I know it’s the right place for me to keep growing as a player and a person.

I’m looking forward to this next season and I can’t wait to see what is in store for us.”

Head Coach, Barney Maddison, added:

“Rori came in just after Christmas and immediately helped solidify our set-piece.

“She’s an outstanding player and an even better individual, with a huge career ahead of her. We’re excited to have her back for another season and see her continue to develop.

We are excited to confirm the extension of USA international Alivia Leatherman for the upcoming season.

The prop made her Test debut for the USA against Italy in WXV 2 in 2023 and has quickly established herself as an influential figure both at club and international level.

Leatherman joined Trailfinders Women midway through last season and wasted no time in making an impact, including a dominant debut victory over Leicester Tigers Women at Welford Road.

Known for her power in the scrum and her strength in open play, Leatherman scored a memorable try in a tightly contested match against eventual champions Gloucester-Hartpury.

Having honed her skills at Notre Dame College in Ohio, she brings a unique combination of dynamism, grit, and set-piece dominance to the squad.

Speaking on her commitment to another season, Leatherman said:

“I’m really looking forward to the season ahead with Trailfinders. Even in the short time I’ve been here, I feel that I’ve improved tremendously. Being part of this group has been massive for me, and I’m excited to see how far we can go together over a full season.”

Barney Maddison, Head Coach, added:

“Alivia came in just before Christmas and immediately made a huge impact on our set-piece. She has massive potential and a huge career ahead of her in rugby. She’s been outstanding for us, and we’re excited to see her continue to grow.”
