Welcome Rosie Dobson!
Trailfinders Women are excited to announce the signing of Hooker Rosie Dobson from Harlequins ahead of the 24/25 campaign.
The 22-year-old has already gained some quality experience, having played a part in Quins’ league title win in 2021.
The England U20s international has a huge amount of promise, adding to a blossoming young front-row contingent that features the likes of Kira Leat and Sara Seye.
After signing up for Trailfinders, Dobson said, “I’m buzzing to have the opportunity to have a new journey in my rugby career! After speaking to Giselle and some of the girls, I know the move will be good for me and my progression within the game.
“Trailfinders have proven themselves well in their first season in the Allianz PWR, and I can’t wait to add what I can to the team. Let’s see what next season brings us!””
Director of Women’s Rugby Giselle Mather said: “We are very much looking forward to Rosie becoming a Trailfinder! She has already achieved a great deal as a young player and we are looking forward to her bringing her huge potential to Vallis Way next season.
“Her strong ball carrying and accurate darts will make an excellent addition to our squad next season.”
