Welcome Jordan Holgate!

Ealing Trailfinders are pleased to announce the signing of South African centre Jordan Holgate from Newcastle Falcons.

The 26-year-old helped steer Jersey to last year’s RFU Championship title and was on the scoresheet during their emphatic away win against Bath in the Premiership Rugby Cup earlier this season.

After switching Jersey for Newcastle, the centre made his Premiership debut in a 13-21 defeat to Bristol Bears at Kingston Park in December.

Like a true Trailfinder, Holgate has travelled the world, playing for clubs in South Africa and Russia before deciding to ply his trade in England.

After signing on the dotted line, Holgate said “I’m really excited to be joining an extremely successful club. There is a huge amount of talent and experience amongst the group which I can’t wait to learn from and get stuck right in!”

Director of Rugby Ben Ward said, “We are very excited to have Jordan joining our squad. He was outstanding last season, winning the league with Jersey, and we are excited about the quality he can bring to the side. He has been with us for a few weeks now and has slotted in really nicely.”
