Lineup: Exeter Chiefs vs Trailfinders Women

Trailfinders Women announce their lineup to face Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park live on TNT Sports.

There are six changes from the side that defeated Sale Sharks Women at TFSC before the Christmas break.

Liz Crake and Lindelwa Gwala join Tighthead Sara Seye in the front row.

Captain Tyson Beukeboom returns to the engine room, partnered with Rowena Burnfield this time.

Blindside flanker Shannon Ikahihifo joins Openside Megan Barwick and Number Eight Kate Zackary in the back-row.

Emma Swords swaps with Ella Amory at scrum-half, partnering Ellie Green in the half-backs.

This week’s centre pairing is Jess Cooksey and Julia Schell, the scorer of the winning try in the last round.

Finally, the back three is unchanged, with Abby Dow, Vicky Laflin and Rosie Inman keeping their places.

On the bench, Lou Dodd is in line for their debut.

Director of Rugby Giselle Mather said, “We are really looking forward to kicking off 2024 with a big away challenge against a strong Exeter Chiefs side. We have looked hard at our performance against Sale and have identified a few areas we are looking to improve on as we hit this next competitive block.
