Lineup: Trailfinders Women vs Sale Sharks

Trailfinders Women announce their lineup to face Sale Sharks at TFSC!

There are two changes to the XV that started against Bristol Bears at Shaftesbury Park.

Andrea Stock starts at Loosehead in place of the injured Liz Crake, alongside Cristina Blanco and Sara Seye in the front row.

Captain Tyson Beukeboom starts alongside Amelia Buckland-Hurry in the engine room again.

The back-row is unchanged featuring Rowena Burnfield, Megan Barwick and Kate Zackary.

Ella Amory joins Ellie Green in the half-backs once again after Green’s stellar game off the tee last round, and for the third week in a row the centre partnership is Carys Cox and Julia Schell.

Finally Abby Dow and Rosie Inman swap places, starting at wing and full back respectively, alongside Vicky Laflin in the back three.

On the bench Cassandra Tuffnail is in line for her Trailfinders debut.

Director of Rugby Giselle Mather said, “This squad has a fantastic opportunity to play at home under lights at the start of the Christmas break against Sale Sharks and we are very much looking forward to the contest.

“The cohesion in the group is improving week on week and after the disappoint at the end of last weeks game we are looking to put in a performance that will conclude 2023 on a high. We hope a large crowd will come and support us and begin their Christmas festivities with us at Vallis Way!”
