FULL-TIME: Nottingham 19-26 Ealing Trailfinders
78min – The hosts are piling on the pressure, but eventually we force the knock on inside our 22.
70min – TRY EALING – Another huge rolling maul sees us get the bonus point, as Jan-Henning pops up with it. Willis with the extras.
69min – A great turnover sees us playing with quick ball. We win the penalty and Craig puts us 5m out.
67min – A lot of unforced errors from both sides are seeing the scrum purists get their money’s worth. This time Nottingham pack down just outside their 22.
61min – TRY NOTTINGHAM – Just as we edge in front Nottingham anger straight back. A quick tap penalty and subsequent kick through deflects off our last man and bounces into the hands of Olowofela.
59min – TRY EALING – A superb rolling maul sees Carlo crash over for his second. Craig with the extras
58min – A great box kick by Burnsy allows a great chase and we manage to regain possession. Nottingham infringe at the breakdown and we’ll kick to the corner.
52min – TRY EALING – Our maul looked like it was going over but was pulled down just metres short. We stay calm and recycle and somehow Carlo manages to bundle himself over! Craig Willis with the extras and we’re all tied up.
50min – We win a penalty about 30m out and go to the corner again. We’ll have a line out 10m out.
48min – HELD UP – A great passage of play where we had to fight for every inch almost sees us get our reward with the five points, but sadly we’re held up over the line and it’ll be a goal line drop out.
45min – We win the penalty in midfield and Craig gives us a line out just outside their 22.
41min – Notts look like they’re going on the attack again, but we do well in the choke tackle to win the scrum.
40min – And we’re back underway
HALF TIME: Nottingham 12-5 Ealing Trailfinders
38min – Just as Nottingham look to go wide, they’re penalised for a forward pass and we’ll have a scrum.
37min – Now Nottingham’s media team are writing the same thing! A delicious break down the left from Zok, CK and Burnsy sees us get 15m out, but we’re isolated at the ruck and this time we’re penalised.
36min – Great scramble defence as Nottingham break free following a kick. But we’re able to cover back and win the penalty at the breakdown.
33min – given the heavy nature of the surface and the recent rain, both sides are deciding it’s smarter to play without the ball, so there’s quite a bit of kicking here this afternoon.
26min – Some good pressure on the last couple of line outs eventually forces an error as Nottingham don’t throw it in straight. We’ll back down just outside their half.
22min – TRY EALING – We answer straight back with a great rolling maul! It makes 15m before Zok breaks off and manages to muscle his way over!
18min – TRY NOTTINGHAM – After sustained pressure Morgan Bunting gets over for the hosts.
15min – Simple handling errors are really stifling our momentum here and we’re struggling to be able to get properly into the game.
12min – TRY NOTTINGHAM – The hots strike first with David Williams on the end of a cross-field kick.
8min – SO CLOSE! We look for all money like we’re about to run in our first score, but the Nottingham defence does superbly well to dislodge the ball during the last ditch covering tackle.
6min – Another penalty from the rolling maul sees us move into the Nottingham half.
5min – We managed to repel the Nottingham rolling maul and subsequently win our own penalty as we manage to clear our lines.
3min – The hosts have come out the faster of the two teams and have won the penalty as we strayed offside. They’ll have a line out 10m out.
KICK OFF – And we’re underway here at the Bay
