Trailfinders Rugby to play in StoneX triple header

Ealing Trailfinders and Trailfinders Women are set to play in a triple header at the StoneX Stadium on Saturday 7 November.

After winning their semi-final cup match against Sale Sharks, Trailfinders Women progress to the final of the JAECOO PWR Next Gen Cup. They face Saracens to decide who will win the trophy.

Ealing Trailfinders face Ampthill in Round 7 of Elior Champ Rugby. The match kicks-off the triple header at the StoneX with the cup final being played later that afternoon.

Ben Ward, Director of Rugby, said:

‘This fixture at the StoneX is a fantastic opportunity for the Club to showcase the talent we have on the field in both our professional teams.

‘We’ve had several Trailfinders Academy players play pivotal roles in the women’s team success of reaching the final. The cup has offered an opportunity to our senior and academy players to evidence what Trailfinders Rugby is about.

‘In Elior Champ Rugby, playing this week’s fixture at the StoneX is a great opportunity for the squad to evidence the hard work they’ve been putting in throughout the season so far at a different ground. Ampthill are a strong side with great ambition so it is a contest that we’re looking forward to.

‘This is a fantastic opportunity for new and old supporters to see both our teams play competitive rugby. We’d love to see as many of them as possible at the StoneX on Saturday.’
