Seb Stegmann signs new contract for 2019/20

Ealing Trailfinders is pleased to announce that Seb Stegmann has put pen to paper on a new contract for the 2019/20 season.

The winger will enter his third season at the club after joining from Yorkshire Carnegie in the summer of 2017. Stegmann has made 28 appearances in an Ealing Trailfinders shirt and has made a huge impact to the back-line with his aerial ability proving influential as well as his try-scoring record.

The 29-year-old has a wealth of experience after coming through the academy at Harlequins and being part of their Premiership winning side of 2012. He has also represented England at Under 16, Under 18 and Under 20 level.

He has had a battle with the likes of James Cordy Redden, Will Harries and Howard Packman throughout this season in the back-three and will be looking to carry on his fine form with a Cup Final approaching in just six weeks time.

Stegmann is delighted to be remaining at the club for another season.

”I’m really enjoying my rugby at Ealing Trailfinders and want to keep improving with plenty of competition in the squad. We are progressing every year so it’s a very exciting place to be.”

Director of Rugby Ben Ward is thrilled to have another key member of the back-line for the 2019/20 campaign.

“Seb is a great addition to our team for next season and we are pleased to have another top quality winger at the club. He has plenty of experience and is very hard-working so it’s another step forward in preparing our squad.”
