Sam Dickinson appointed as Club Captain
Ealing Trailfinders have appointed Sam Dickinson as Club Captain for the second year in a row.
The second-row/back-rower is entering his third season at Trailfinders Sports Club, and has won two trophies during a highly successful period at the West Londoners.
Dickinson has previously captained Northampton Saints’ Wanderers side to the A League Premiership Title, and despite missing a large part of last season through injury he still had a huge impact on the playing group.
The 34-year-old is pleased to be leading the Trailfinders in to the upcoming season.
“It is a pleasure to continue to be a part of the organisation and share the ambition we have as a collective.
As our Player of the Year Rayn Smid leads us on the pitch, I am proud to be able to contribute to off field leadership.”
Director of Rugby Ben Ward is thrilled that Dickinson will be Club Captain for another year.
“Sam has an enormous amount of respect amongst our group and we are delighted that he will be Club Captain once again.
We have a great leadership group at the club and he will work with the likes of Rayn Smid which means our squad are in great hands.”
