Pat Howard to remain at Ealing Trailfinders for 2019/20 campaign
Ealing Trailfinders can today confirm that Pat Howard has signed a new contract for the 2019/20 season.
The centre has been a major part of the back-line throughout this year, starting 15 matches for the Green and Whites in the 2018/19 campaign.
The South African is a powerful runner and has formed impressive partnerships with the likes of Harry Sloan, Lewis Jones and Guy Armitage in the midfield.
An early season spell of five tries in six matches showed his attacking credentials including a double in the win over Coventry as he adapted seamlessly to the Greene King IPA Championship.
Howard is looking forward to another year at Trailfinders Sports Club.
“I’m very grateful for the opportunity to stay on at Ealing Trailfinders, it’s been a great first year for me and I’ve really enjoyed having had a good run of games.
I’m thoroughly looking forward to building on what has been a really positive season as part of a squad with a lot of potential.”
Director of Rugby Ben Ward is delighted to have the centre for the 19/20 campaign.
“Pat has had a great season and we are pleased that he will be with us for another year. He is a very physical centre but also has plenty of pace so he gives us a great option in the midfield.”
