Knight and Naylor sign up to Trailfinders Rugby Academy
Ealing Trailfinders can today confirm the next two members of the Trailfinders Rugby Academy with Brunel University London.
Reuben Knight and Rory Naylor have added even more quality to the programme which is now well underway with week eight of pre-season now completed.
Rory Naylor joins after completing his School and Sixth Form Studies at Windsor Boys, where he played for Windsor RFC at the same time. His performances there ensured that he was selected for Berkshire Under 16s & 18s, and the wing/centre will be an exciting addition to the back-line.
Reuben Knight is another versatile back who can play at either fly-half or centre. After attending Oakland’s Catholic College he joined the London Irish Academy where he would feature regularly as well as playing for his home club Havant to gain more opportunities.
Brunel Head of Rugby Gareth Rise said the pair have already shown what they are capable of during their time in West London so far.
“Rory and Reuben are both great examples of how exciting this programme is already becoming. They have shown what they can do during training sessions with the first team which is invaluable for their development.
Rory has plenty of pace on the wing and Reuben has great distribution skills so we are looking forward to seeing them in action.”
