Jordan Burns signs new contract at Ealing Trailfinders
Ealing Trailfinders is pleased to announce that Jordan Burns has signed a new contract for the 2019/20 season.
The scrum-half has been in sparkling form recently and has made the number nine shirt his own with his searing pace proving too much for defenders to deal with.
The 25-year-old has been involved in every match so far in the 18/19 season, crossing the try-line 12 times in his 25 appearances for the Trailfinders.
His highlight came in the Championship Cup Semi Final against Cornish Pirates when he scored four tries to fire the West Londoners through to the final.
Burns is thrilled to be remaining with the club for the 2019/20 campaign.
“I’m really pleased to have re-signed for another year. I’m enjoying my rugby with Ealing Trailfinders so it was an easy decision to stay. The club is building a good culture and atmosphere which I’m excited to be a part of next year.”
Director of Rugby Ben Ward is delighted that Burns will be at Ealing Trailfinders for another season.
“Jordan has been a fantastic addition to our squad and we are delighted that he will be with us again next year. He has some attributes that no other scrum halves have with his support play and speed. There are areas of his game that need to develop and we will continue to work with him on that.
His try-scoring record in recent weeks speaks for itself and means we are very pleased that he will be with us for the 2019/20 season.”
