James Cordy Redden signs new two year deal at Ealing Trailfinders
Ealing Trailfinders is delighted to reveal that James Cordy Redden has committed his future to the club by signing a new two year deal.
The winger is one of the most experienced members of the squad after joining in 2016 following a spell with England Sevens, and he has gone on to make 58 appearances for the Trailfinders over a three-year period.
Well in to his third season he has 32 tries for the club giving him a record of more than one try per match, making him a firm fan favourite amongst the Ealing faithful.
The 6ft 2” back is ever-reliable under the high ball and his strong ball-carrying makes him one of the most formidable wingers in the Championship.
Cordy Redden is thrilled to be remaining with the West Londoners for another year.
“I'm extremely happy and thankful to be given the opportunity to re-sign with Ealing Trailfinders. I was lucky enough to make my 50th appearance this season and now strive to make 100.
With the calibre of players and coaching staff here, I know this club is capable of doing something special and I can't wait to be a part of it.”
The 25-year-old has continued his fine record in the Green and White shirt throughout the 2018/19 campaign, crossing the try-line 10 times in his 17 appearances on the left wing.
“We are delighted to have Cordy with us for another year, he is one of the best wingers in the league and has a fantastic try-scoring record in an Ealing Trailfinders shirt” Said Director of Rugby Ben Ward.
He added: “ JCR is a popular member of the squad and we see him as a very important member of the group moving forward.”
