Harry Casson signs new deal for 2019/20

Ealing Trailfinders can today reveal that Harry Casson has signed a new contract for the 2019/20 season.

The second-rower is one of the main lineout callers for the Trailfinders, giving him huge responsibility in the set-piece which he has thrived on throughout this campaign.

The 27-year-old made his 50th appearance for the club in the victory over Jersey Reds before Christmas, making him one of the most experienced members of the squad.

He recovered from injury back in November and has since started 17 matches in a row, showing his importance to the side.

The former England Under 20s representative captained the Trailfinders last year and will now enter his fourth season at the club. During that time he has also won silverware, lifting the British and Irish Cup trophy last season.

Casson is thrilled to be remaining at Trailfinders Sports Club for another season.

“I’m really pleased to be staying here at Ealing Trailfinders, it’s been a great year for me personally with making my 50th appearance and us getting into the final of the cup. As a squad we want to kick on and finish the season and cup campaign on a high, and I look forward to digging in with the lads to get the job done.”

Director of Rugby Ben Ward is delighted to add another experienced member for the 2019/20 campaign.

“Harry is a great player but has also grown in to a great leader during his time here which makes him a fantastic asset to our squad. He works very hard, especially for our lineout and we are pleased to have him with us for another year.”
