Floyd Woodrow visits first team squad to discuss performing under pressure
Last week we welcomed Floyd Woodrow, formerly of the SAS who delivered a powerful talk to the players.
Floyd served for over 20 years in the SAS and passed selection at 22 years of age. He has authored two bestselling books titled “Elite” and “The Warrior, The Strategist and You.” He currently consults within high level business and elite sport and most recently has developed a world class system to help schools titled “The Compass for Life.”
Head of Strength and Conditioning Tom McLaughlin was hugely grateful to Floyd for his time at Vallis Way, which aimed to inspire the players for the remainder of the 2017/18 campaign.
“We have been incredibly fortunate to have Floyd Woodrow speak to the squad on performing at your best. I have known Floyd for a few years and he is a truly inspirational person with a wealth of experience in many high performing environments.
On behalf of all of the management and players I would like to express our gratitude for his talk and the conversations he had with individual players and coaches. We also look forward to working together again later this year."
