First Girls Rugby Camp with Emma Uren a huge success
The Girls Camp was a memorable occasion as England Sevens player Emma Uren hosted the first coaching clinic at Trailfinders Sports Club.
The former England Under 20's Captain, who plays her club rugby for Saracens, coached the girls on a range of rugby skills as well as other elements such as decision making and game management.
Uren enjoyed the experience at Ealing Trailfinders with some promising players.
“It was amazing that all the girls were willing to learn and really showed some talent. Despite the weather it was so good to see the energy and them getting stuck in. I had a great day with the girls and hope they came away with something!"
Community Manager Ross Doneghan was thrilled with how the day went.
"With this being the very first girls camp at Ealing Trailfinders, the club and the community department are delighted with how things have started. Having the likes of Emma to coach and inspire players has been fantastic and we can't wait to hold our next girls camp in April!"
