Andrew Durutalo signs for Worcester Warriors
Ealing Trailfinders regret to announce that Andrew Durutalo will depart the club after signing for Worcester Warriors.
The American international featured in six matches for the West Londoners, and after a number of impressive performances he has attracted the attention of the Aviva Premiership outfit.
Durutalo will move to Sixways immediately, meaning that the match against Jersey Reds last weekend was his final appearance for the club.
The 29-year-old crossed the try-line on five occasions, and was awarded man of the match in three of the opening six fixtures of the season.
Durutalo has this message for his Ealing Trailfinders team mates and the supporters.
“I’m very grateful to Ealing for everything. They got me through the door and I’m very thankful to Ben Ward and Alex Codling for helping to put me in this position.
I’m sad to be leaving and have made some great friendships. It was a personal decision but I want to thank all of the Ealing supporters and everyone involved.”
Director of Rugby Ben Ward thanked the American for his impact during his time at Vallis Way.
“Whilst we are disappointed to lose a player of Drew’s quality, the player was clear in his decision to move to Worcester and we wish him the best.”
“We pride ourselves on developing players during their time at the club, and have huge ambitions ourselves moving forward in order to bring Premiership Rugby here to players on a permanent basis.”
